Overview

In this hotel we transmit a high-speed wireless Wi-fi signal that is recognized by laptops, or PDA s fitted with a wireless network card. These cards serve as antennas, which transmit the signal to and from the hotspot. The user is then relayed to a payment system and then on to the internet. All areas in this hotel are Wi-fi-enabled, including the pool deck and Union Terrace areas.

What do you need to get started?

Using the hotspot services is easy; all you need are the following:

• A Wi-fi enabled laptop, or PDA, or any Wi-fi certified 802.11 wireless network card installed on your laptop (available at reception).
  
• A Wireless G pre-paid airtime voucher, your credit card details, or a registered GBIA corporate account. (Visit www.wirelessg.co.za to find out if your service provider is integrated).
