Wireless Internet - Hotspot in the hotel

Fast convenient wireless broadband internet access is brought to you by Wireless G, in association with the Sheraton Pretoria Hotel. In the hotel we transmit a high-speed wireless Wi-fi signal that is recognized by laptops, or PDAs fitted with a wireless network card. These cards serve as antennas, which transmit the signal to and from the hotspot. The user is then relayed to a payment system and then on to the internet. All areas at the sheraton Pretoria Hotel are Wi-fi-enabled, including the pool deck and Union Terrace areas.

What do you need to get started?

Using the hotspot services is easy; all you need are the following:

• A Wi-fi enabled laptop or other mobile device (Wi-fi certified 802.11 wireless network card) installed on your laptop (available at the reception).
