Starwood Preferred Business (SPB) is an exclusive global Rewards program designed to give unprecedented benefits for companies that do not qualify for Starwood Global Preference (GP) or SET Preferred (SP) programs. It allows the transient sales force to capture business and increase the loyalty of companies that qualify for local negotiated rates, as well as those that don’t.
Eligibility requirements
· Company must have three travelling employees.
· Company must have potential for a minimum of 25 room nights or 10 stays at Starwood Hotels each year.
· Government agencies are not eligible. Associations are eligible for participation when they register paid association employees to the account. Association members are not eligible to register in the association’s SPB account
Company Benefits
Once the company registers in SPB it will enjoy:
· Starpoints® Companies earn one Starpoint for every eligible U.S. dollar spent by their employees for business or leisure travel. (Company Starpoint earnings are tracked through individual employee's SPG accounts.)
· Discounted Rates. Companies receive access to our Best Retail Unrestricted rate.
· Account Reporting. Companies have access to online account activity, reporting and account management tools.
Traveller Benefits
When a company joins SPB, its employees must be enrolled in SPG and be linked to the companies SPB account in order to earn rewards for themselves and the company.
Employees are enrolled into the exclusive Preferred Business level of SPG, which includes the following Benefits:
· Two Starpoints for every eligible U.S. dollar spent – in addition to the company’s earnings.
· An automatic upgrade to a Preferred Room at check –in (Subject to availability).
· 4 p.m. late check out (Subject to availability)
